Tallahassee ZOOM, a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, provides track and field training to youth ages 7 to 18. Our team is a diverse group of athletes representing Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties in Florida, as well as South Georgia. Founded in January 2010, ZOOM is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USA Track & Field (USATF), the governing bodies of track and field. We stress honesty and accountability while encouraging social responsibility and academic excellence among our athletes. Since our humble beginnings, ZOOM has produced 277 National All-American athletes and 47 National Champions. Of all our accomplishments, we are most proud that 90 of our former athletes have continued their education and competed at the collegiate level.
For the 2026 season, Tallahassee ZOOM athletes will compete on both the state and national stages, highlighted by an exciting championship schedule. Our athletes are preparing to compete at premier events including the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Philadelphia, PA, and the Southeast Meet of Champions in Jacksonville, FL. We are especially excited to conclude our season at the AAU Club Championships in Jacksonville, FL in July 2026, where our athletes will compete against some of the top club programs in the nation.
Currently, we have a club fundraising goal of $45,000 and $1,800 individually to help defray these costs.
Here’s how you can help! We are asking you to support us in our continuing efforts to provide the youth of Tallahassee continued exposure to track and field by becoming a sponsor for the 2025 season, including the annual Tallahassee ZOOM Invitational, which sees thousands of athletes from all over Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina descend on the Capital City for a great day of track and field competition! No amount is too small and any donation would be greatly appreciated.
