6 Medals Highlight Zoom's Effort at the 2017 FHSAA State Finals

The 2017 FHSAA State Finals is in the books and Zoom athletes were able to secure 6 state medals over the weekend!
Akyrah O'Banner ended her freshman track campaign in style with 3 medals over the weekend. Dubbed the 'G.O.A.T' by teammates, Kyrah secured podium results in the 400m, 200m, and the 4x4 relay for Godby High! The future is very bright for this one folks.... 
Justin Peter had another stellar showing at the State Finals to end his high school track career. The USF Bulls signee finished the weekend with 3 medals as well, securing medals in the long jump, 300m hurdles, and the 4x4 relay for Leon High. Affectionately known as 'Just Blaze', Justin finishes his career as a 7-time State and 2-time National (AAU & USATF) medalist.....
